Peninsula has made a few club trips to visit the DDRC with Kernow to present the cheques from the Kernow Dive Weekends and assist with their research on the accuracy of the Romberg test in "normal" divers! Here are a few of the photos from the tour of the chamber they gave us at the same time!

The multiplace chamber The main multiplace chamber at the DDRC, where both divers and people with other conditions benefiting from hyperbaric oxygen therapy are treated.
Inside the multiplace chamber The inside of the multiplace chamber, with Kernow members receiving an tour from a DDRC staff member.
The Comex chamber This is the Comex chamber, which is used to go to greater depths, and where divers can be given mixed gases for recompression. It is also used for research and for keeping divers at saturation depths.
The Monoplace Chamber The Monoplace chamber - to treat a single patient at a time.
Liquid Oxygen Tank This is the liquid oxygen tank which allows the chambers to be provided with large volumes of oxygen for patient treatment.
