Chairman - Andrew Earle - Andrew is a Sports diver, and has been diving round the Cornish coast for several years. He has previously held the post of Welfare officer on the committee.
Newsletter Editor - Carly - Carly is a Sports Diver and Assistant Instructor and is currently halfway through becoming a Dive Leader. She is a new member to the club and bravely volunteered to take on the newsletter editor position so is responsible for keeping us all up to date with club activities.
Carly admits she's not one of those who always has a slice of cake for the guys but you had better keep on her good side as her second love is kickboxing!
Membership Secretary/Secretary -Tamsin - Tamsin is a new member to the committee in 2010, and looks after your membership queries and makes sure we're all up to date, as well as keeping the minutes of the committee meetings.
Treasurer - Jeff Dicker - Jeff has previously held the post of Diving officer on the Committee, and is just getting back into the water after a break spent building his house!
Welfare Officer - Hilary Paynter - Hilary is an active diving member of the club, and is well known for providing lots of food out on the boat! As Welfare Officer she has particular responsibility for the welfare policy for children and vulnerable adults who dive with the club.
Website Editor- Helen Butcher - Helen is a Sports Diver and a Theory Instructor, and has been diving since 2003. She has just started diving with an underwater camera and is an active member of the club, though currently living in London.
Diving Officer - Brendon Rowe - Brendon is a BSAC Advanced diver and Open Water Instructor. He is a qualified rebreather and open circuit trimix diver as well as an instructor for several skill development courses. He has previously held the committee positions of Chairman, Training Officer, and Treasurer. He is an active member of CISMAS (Cornwall And Isles of Scilly Maritime Archeology Society).
Boat Officer - Nick - a new member to the committee, he is responsible for the care and maintenance of our two club boats.
Equipment Officer -Shelley - Shelley is another new member to the committee - again awaiting a blurb! In the meantime feel free to contact her with any equipment needs
Social Secretary - Hayley - Hayley is another new member of the committee in 2010. The social secretary normally organises a variety of events throughout the year - bowling, barbeques on the beach and a treasure hunt are events seen in previous years.
If anyone has any ideas for events/activities, i would love to hear from them, and hope that the events will be supported by friends and family, as well as club members!
