Peninsula Sub Aqua Club
About PSAC
Peninsula Sub Aqua Club has been running since the 1970’s, and currently has about 40 members. We are a Branch of the British Sub Aqua Club (branch no. 1036). We own a 5.8m Rigid Inflatable Boat, with a 125hp outboard engine, which was purchased about 8 years ago, and a new 6.5m RIB purchased at the beginning of 2009. We dive regularly (every Sunday, weather permitting, as well as midweek) on wrecks and reefs around the Cornish coast. We are lucky enough to have a huge selection of boat dives and shore dives available to us because we are surrounded by coastline, and a history of wrecking!
We offer other social events and meetings including evening/night dives, summer BBQ’s, award dinners, weekends away and diving holidays. We meet every Friday night at Redruth School swimming pool from 8.30pm to 10pm. You are welcome to come along and meet some club members, have a swim, bring your kit (and qualification!), or try scuba diving with an instructor if you’ve never done it before!
We run courses in diver training up to and including advanced diver and have the skills and instructors within the club to run a number of Skill Development Courses. We can also supply all SCUBA equipment for training, with the exception of dive suits. We welcome everyone - from the complete novice right through to the more experienced diver (including those trained by other agencies), we just enjoy going diving! We’re always happy to answer any queries you may have, so either come along on a club night, meet us, and have a chat, or contact us with any queries.
